Operation Shelter Care - A General Population Shelter Tabletop ExerciseThe purpose of the Operation Shelter Care Tabletop Exercise is to provide nursing students that have participated in Part 1 of the American Red Cross Disaster Health and Sheltering Course an opportunity to assess their understanding of the various healthcare-related challenges they will encounter when working within a shelter. Schedule ExerciseNursing instructors can schedule an offering of the Operation Shelter Care - A General Population Shelter Tabletop Exercise for their students by accessing, completing and submitting an Schedule Exercise Request Form. The request to schedule an exercise must be submitted three weeks prior to the planned date to offer the exercise. Once the exercise has been scheduled additional information regarding the exercise will be e-mailed to the instructor.Exercise Delivery SystemThis exercise will be facilitated via an internet based application entitled ON-Line eXercise (ONX) System which will allow instructor and students to participate in the exercise from their classroom.
